Customization includes:<ul><li>app icons,</li><li>the splash screen,</li><li>the color palette,</li><li>the home screen layout,</li><li>supported blockchains,</li><li>supported asset clases,</li><li>… and much more.</li></ul>In particular, our app now supports both duo-color and tri-color palettes, as well as a fully functional and readable dark mode.<img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:700/1*t0wMhg88xjgtTtei7DLSVw.png" alt="" width="700" height="700" loading="lazy">Newly designed Home ScreenThe main page has also been redesigned — the vertical block layout means white-label clients have the flexibility to choose what features they wish to feature prominently on the Home screen. For instance, maybe a client wants an app that focuses primarily on sending and receiving funds, like PayPal for crypto. Simple — put our Send and Receive module on the very top. In our case, we’re designing our app to be centered around stablecoin transactions and usage, and we’re making it super easy to stake your USDC for high returns via the Investment module. All this is possible due to modular feature blocks, which provides a nice transition to the next section…<h1>Modular feature blocks and KryptoGO’s Wallet SDK</h1>Put simply, modular features are features that can be turned on or off independently and at will without breaking the rest of the app. This is made possible by KryptoGO’s own Wallet SDK, thanks to our engineering team who spent a good amount of time refactoring our code by feature, making it easier to reuse and maintain.An analogy provided by Dorara, the lead engineer of the mobile development team: using KryptoGO Wallet SDK is similar to building a tower with wooden blocks. The base of the tower consists of core wallet features — features that you would expect any crypto wallet to include. Once the fundamentals are done and stable, clients are free to put in any blocks of their choosing — optional features — to construct a tower that is specific and intuitive for their particular audience and use case.The modular features are then presented are features blocks that can be freely laid out on the Home screen. Here are a few feature blocks:My Wallets: lists out all a user’s wallets, the value of all assets within a wallet, and includes a portfolio analysis feature and an Ethereum gas tracker.<img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:700/1*actw0VFDLe8X46XeTn-uOA.png" alt="" width="700" height="251" loading="lazy">My Wallets blockMy Assets: lists out assets that a user owns across all his or wallets, the market value of that asset, as well as a portfolio analysis feature.<img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:700/1*rV2KEUugnEhF3J0o66bp-w.png" alt="" width="700" height="251" loading="lazy">My Assets blockQuick Send: allows a user to quickly send to contacts and addresses that he or she has recently transacted with, minimizing the possibility of sending to incorrect addresses or malicious third parties.<img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:700/1*ZtAV2JElK2VEbS0t4Vz21A.png" alt="" width="700" height="251" loading="lazy">Quick Send blockRecent Activity: Shows all transactions, such as sending a token, receiving a token, swapping or token, or minting an NFT, asscoiated with a user’s wallets. This helps the user keep track of his or her on-chain activity.<img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:700/1*RA4pz4d9vSB2VdSHRyyvaw.png" alt="" width="700" height="251" loading="lazy">Recent Activitiy block<h1>Becoming more stablecoin-friendly via gasless transactions</h1>This is a big topic that we are continuously working on, and is briefly showcased in the video. Stablecoins such as USDC and USDT are pegged to fiat currency (in this case, the US Dollar), which makes it ideal for more conservative or risk-adverse parties who also want to participate in the cryptocurrency market. However, one of the biggest problem that remains is that you cannot do anything on-chain with stablecoins alone, because performing any transaction on a blockchain requires you to pay the main token of that chain for gas fees. For instance: to complete a transaction, having USDT on Tron isn’t enough. You’ll also need TRX, the main token of the Tron chain. This limitation hugely increases the friction and barrier to entry.Our solution: gasless transactions. To be the best stablecoin wallet out on the market, ideally users would be able to do what they want on-chain even if they only possess stablecoins. In this case, KryptoGO will sponsor the gas fee (native token) in exchange for a little bit of extra stablecoin tokens.
