Hey friends, and welcome to another biweekly update, albeit a short one this week.Under the hood, we are working tirelessly to improve portfolio refresh speeds, especially right after transactions. We have heard some users (loud and clear) provide feedback that their portfolio balance does not accurately reflect their actual balance after transactions, for instance, in the following scenarios:<ul><li>Right after a Send transaction on certain chains, where the sent amount isn’t reflected in the portfolio balance until a few minutes later.</li><li>Right after claiming a Send Via Link balance, where the claimed amount isn’t reflected in the portfolio balance until a few minutes later.</li><li>Right after performing a Stake and Earn operation, where the Staked amount isn’t accurately displayed until a few minutes later.</li></ul>We are taking this very seriously since we understand slower-than-expected portfolio refreshes can result in a lot of anxiety on the user’s end, especially for transactions that involve moving a large sum of money.However, the fix isn’t as easy as one would expect, since timely updates mean having to constantly monitor the state of wallets across many blockchains, and the state of assets across multiple asset classes and DeFi protocols.To that end, we are updating both our backend in order to provide more timely data, as well as part of the wallet interface to more accurately reflect whether and when new data is being pulled. We will also take some time to check all third-party services used in KryptoGO App regarding their reliability.While we work on making KryptoGO App better with each update, keep the feedback coming!
